Eric Yang is the President of the Asia Pacific Publishers Association as well as the current Vice President of the Korean Publishers Association, the trade association. Based in Seoul, Eric is currently C.E.O of RH Korea (Formaly Random House Korea) and RHK JAPAN.

In addition, he was C.E.O & President of Random House Asia and oversaw both Random House Kodansha and Random House JoongAng joint-venture book publishing houses in Japan and Korea respectively. He also set the joint-venture as the distribution firm with Beijing Publishing Group in August 2007.

He is the founder of Eric Yang Literary Agency since 1995 which represents world-best selling authors and foreign publishers in Korea.

In 1999, Eric Yang Merchandising Agency was established and represented “Bob the Builder “and “Moomin” character licensing business in Seoul.
