Started on September 1st 2004, China Publishers is the first full color high-end magazine which roots in book publishing industry and covers the global culture industry.
After ten years’ operation, China Publishers has successfully made a name for itself which consolidates its occupation of the title of the best magazine in China’s publishing industry. Now, China Publishers has already become a perfect platform for the cultural enterprises to promote their products as well as demonstrate their enterprise image.
Overseas cooperation
As the observer of global culture industry, China Publishers shows perfect international views in terms of content. By far, we have established collaborating partnership with several foreign authoritative media, such as Publishers Weekly and Publishing Perspectives.
During the annual London Book Fair and Frankfurt Book Fair ,we launch “Special issue of China” to publishers overseas, both in English and German, all of which has made China Publishers evolve into an indispensable media platform to introduce China publishing industry to the whole world.
In 2012, China Publishers, together with the Frankfurt Book Fair, which is well known as the most influential book fair organizing committee, reached an framework agreement on the strategic partnership. The two parties will implement cooperation in several aspects including resource sharing, publishing training and business exchanging. At present, China Publishers' overseas business types include exhibition designation and organization, copyright recommendation, overseas communication and training.
Annual award of book publishing industry
In the past decade, China Publishers Magazine has successfully held Annual Award of China Publishing Industry for 9 sessions. With the rising of the awards' reputation for objectivity and visionary, it has acted as an important role of development tendency of the publishing industry in China and is also well known as China’s most influential unofficial awards in publishing industry
New media platform in the digital age
Digital age has not been friendly to traditional media since the very beginning,and we believe that it is time for us to change. In the past two years, China Publishers Magazine has established an online platform through Wechat, the most popular online chatting software in China. Till today, the platform has already had more than 20,000 followers, which allows us to reach our readers as fast as we could never have imagined in the past. Meanwhile, we've also created our online community on Douban.com, and disseminated our digital issue through cnki.net and Dooland.com, all of which has helped us to not only survive but also thrive in this highly competitive era.
