Jiang Feng has held the post of General Manager at CITIC Yun Trust since 2015.

From 2010 to 2015, he was Amazon China’s Kindle eBook content director.

He graduated from the Computer Science faculty at Tsinghua University in 1990. In 1995, Mr Jiang established the first representative office in China for a US publishing company, the Simon & Schuster/Prentice Hall Beijing representative office. In 1998, after Prentice Hall was sold to Pearson PLC, he established McGraw-Hill Education’s China representative office and was its Chief Representative. During that time, he was in charge of bringing in more than 500 outstanding textbooks, management and computer related professional book resources from the US each year, greatly enhancing the Chinese book market, particularly that for textbooks. From 2003, Mr Jiang introduced outstanding publications of Justin Yifu Lin, Wu Jinglian, Cheng Siwei and other Chinese scholars to the mainstream international market, planned the “Greater China series ”, and explored the “Globalization of Chinese Wisdom” simultaneously publishing in both traditional and simplified Chinese characters on both sides of the Straits, as well as compiling the translated English language edition in the US at the same time.

In 2005, he joined Higher Education Press, co-creating the “Teaching Service Department of Higher Education Press” which extended to 24 provinces and autonomous regions nationwide and staffed by 287 persons at its height.

In 2010, Mr Jiang joined Amazon China, and became the first employee of Kindle in China, leading Kindle’s market entry strategy. As of December 2012, he introduced more than 200 top Chinese publishing houses, and 24,000 quality eBooks, successfully establishing Kindle’s eBookstore in China. By 2014, China’s Kindle eBookstore comprised 197,000 quality eBooks. Kindle China comprehensively affected and advanced the development process of the digitization of the Chinese book industry.
