David Gerson was Vice President of Production/Development for Focus Features where he worked on Ziad Doueiri's The Attack (forthcoming), Reservation Road, Away We Go, Focus' first animation production with Tim Burton and Timur Bekmambetov on 9, Milk and Lay the Favorite.

2010 he started his producing career with InterTitle Films.
InterTitle has an overhead and first look deal with Universal International to unit films from the international markets with the intellectual properties in the domestic market.

Amongst other projects he will begin production in fall 2011 on Blood Red Sky directed by Peter Thorwarth with Dan Maag for Universal. He will also begin pre-production in the fall on Shane Acker's next animated film entitled Kind regards from Kindergarden.
