10:0010:40Challenging conventional thinking and finding intrigue in the ordinary
Cross-cultural storytelling
When I was in primary school, I used to play in the fields and look at bugs after school each day. I had to do homework at night as well. When I open my exercise books, I would see rows of tidy but very boring squares. They made me drowsy and my eyes would glaze over. In a trance, I would see lots of bugs in my books fiddling around with those squares.
What exactly did these bugs do to the books? On May 31, Zhu Yingchun will be at StoryDrive to share the story of the bugs in his books.

SPEAKER:
Zhu Yingchun, book designer, artist, book planner

10:4011:20Liu Yang’s story: East meets West

Books are not merely the vessel of knowledge and information. More importantly, it is a bridge that connects different cultures and peoples.
