Zeng Hua (曾华) Zeng Hua, Chief Operating Officer of Toutiao and person in charge of Toutiao’s missing person program. An experienced media person, Mr. Zeng once worked as a news reporter in traditional media for years. He became involved in the internet sector in 2009, and was in charge of operations in NetEase and Sina Weibo. In early 2015, he joined Toutiao from Weibo, and spearheaded the use of Toutiao’s AI technology in work related to the recommendation of urban news. In the process of pushing news, he and his team discovered the importance of news related to missing persons. In early 2016, a public interest program for locating missing persons was launched. Today, Toutiao Alert for Missing Persons has become the largest public interest program for locating missing persons in China's Internet industry. It has also created brands such as seeking family members across the Strait, seeking descendants of revolutionary martyrs, and seeking family members of anonymous patients. The program, founded three years ago, has successfully reunited more than 9,000 missing persons with their families. |
