Afu Thomas (阿福) Afu Thomas, a 30-year-old German, has lived in Shanghai for more than four years. His fluent Chinese and Shanghai dialect have made him a qualified "Shanghai Son-in-law" and "China Self-Media Internet Celebrity". Over the past three years, Afu has released a series of Sino-German cultural life videos on Weixin, Weibo, YouTube and other social networking platforms. He gathered more than 600 million views and more than 7 million followers. He is an unofficial ambassador for the Sino-German friendship. He actively participated in Sino-German cultural exchanges and was member of the official delegation during German President’s Frank-Walter Steinmeier first official visit to the People’s Republic of China. |
